What to Wear to a family shoot ~ Park

So you’ve taken the plunge and decided to book a family shoot yay!! So now the hard bit WHAT TO WEAR.
There are some key things to look for and to avoid while still being you and your style. Remember this is only a guide

I personally like Greens, greys, blues and creams for a park shoot. It compliments the green background and it isnt too over powering ( we want to make sure its YOU that stands out)

If your shoot is an extended family shoot the main thing is to not have one person stand out ( unless thats what you are going for.) in the photo above if one person was wearing a red top they would over power the rest of the family.

Key things to Avoid are

• Bold patterns and bold colours that don’t match your family

• Writting or words on your clothing

Keys things to remember

• love what you are wearing! ( its all good to try and match the family but if you don’t like the way you feel in the outfit then don’t wear it)

• make sure the kids are comfortable, the cutest outfit in the world isnt worth a grumpy kid. remember the main thing we are trying to capture if your family and the love. It’s not a country road catalogue

• Lastly have fun. The shoot should be joyous and Happy.
